The Promise, in One Paragraph
Every solar job Gus’s Solar performs is backed by a written 90-day workmanship promise. If something we installed doesn’t hold, doesn’t work the way we said it would, or just isn’t right – call (877) 550-6892 and we come back. No forms, no fees, no haggling. Gus Petrakis has had his name on this business since 2011, and that name means something. One call brings us back. That’s the whole promise, and it’s written on every job ticket we hand you.
What’s Covered
- The work we performed: if any part of our installation, repair, or maintenance shows a workmanship problem within 90 days of the service date, we fix it at no charge.
- The parts we supplied and installed: any component we sourced and put in place is covered for the same 90-day window – if it fails because of how it was installed, we make it right.
- The return visit itself: we schedule it, we show up in the same window we give you, and there’s no trip charge for coming back to look at our own work.
- A full redo when a repair doesn’t hold: if we fixed something and it fails again inside 90 days, we don’t patch it a second time – we go back to the root of it.
- Site clean-up: we leave the roof, the attic access, and the ground around the house the same way we found it, every visit including a return one.
- A straight answer: if we come back and find the problem is outside the promise, we tell you exactly why and give you a written estimate before anything else happens.
What Isn’t Covered
We’ll say these plainly, because they’re fair – and if you’re not sure which category your situation falls into, call us anyway. We’ll come look.
- Storm damage or accidents after our visit: a hail strike, a tree limb, or any event that happened after we left isn’t a workmanship problem – but we’re still glad to come assess it and give you a written estimate.
- Work done by someone else: if another contractor touched the system after we finished, we can’t stand behind what we didn’t do – though we’ll tell you honestly what we see.
- Parts the customer supplied: we’ll install a part you provide, but we can’t warrant a component we didn’t source – the promise covers the parts we put our hands on.
- Normal equipment wear on gear we didn’t install: if you have panels, an inverter, or batteries that were on the property before we showed up, those age on their own timeline.
- Problems we flagged and you chose not to fix: if we noted an issue during the job and documented it, and you decided to hold off, that item isn’t covered under the 90-day promise – we’ll re-inspect it at any time, and the written estimate we gave you still stands.
- Changes you requested after the job was signed off: scope changes after completion are a new job with a new estimate – no markup, no rush, just a clean starting point.
How to Use the Promise
Step 1: Call (877) 550-6892 or book online
A live person picks up, any hour of the day. Tell them you’re calling about a return visit under the 90-day promise, and they’ll get you started right there – no department transfers, no ticketing queue.
Step 2: Tell us the job and roughly when we were there
That’s all we need. We keep every job on file – the date, the crew, the parts, the scope – so there’s no receipt hunt and no paperwork to dig up on your end.
Step 3: We schedule the return visit
We’ll find a time that works for you and confirm it the same day. You’ll get a name and an arrival window, same as the first visit – because the same standard applies whether we’re there for the first time or the fifth.
Step 4: We make it right
Gus’s crew comes back, looks at what happened, and fixes it. No fee, no form, no negotiation. If something unexpected comes up that falls outside the promise, we tell you before we touch it – and the written estimate is yours to keep whether you proceed or not.
Timing
The 90-day window runs from the date we completed the work, which is recorded on your job ticket. If something comes up on day 91 or 92, call us. We’re reasonable people and we’re not going to use a calendar to dodge a legitimate problem. Each location in the Gus’s Solar family is independently operated, and every one of them honors this promise in full – same 90 days, same standard, same phone number. This is not a corporate policy handed down from a home office. It’s Gus Petrakis’s word, and it travels with every truck that carries his name.
Questions About the Promise
